Construction businesses can enter in 22 categories and an additional 2 Judges Special Awards in this year's CEF Excellence Awards

The Construction Excellence Awards 2022 has been launched by the Constuction Employers Federation.

The Awards provide an opportunity to recognise the achievements of the local construction industry and to publicise the contribution that the industry makes to the economy and society in Northern Ireland.

After a virtual awards event in 2021, the Awards are returning to an in-person gala evening on Thursday 6 October 2022.

The competition is open to all CEF member companies including associate members, and those registered with Safe-T-Cert, NVIR-O-CERT are also eligible to enter.

The categories for 2022 are:

  • Construction People Awards - Lifetime Achievement
  • Construction People Awards - Outstanding Contributor, more than 15 years
  • Construction People Awards - Rising Star, less than 15 years
  • Construction People Awards - Apprentice of The Year
  • Fit-Out Project of the Year
  • Restoration Project of the Year
  • General Construction Project of the Year, below £1m
  • General Construction Project of the Year, above £1m
  • Commercial Construction Project of the Year, below £1m
  • Commercial Construction Project of the Year, above £1m
  • Social Housing Project of the Year
  • Private Housing Project of the Year
  • Multiple Occupancy Housing Project of the Year
  • Health Project of the Year
  • Education Project of the Year
  • Infrastructure Project of the Year
  • Excellence in Health & Safety
  • Excellence in Training Award
  • Social Value Project of the Year
  • Excellence in Sustainability
  • GB & Republic of Ireland Construction Project of the Year, above £2.5m
  • GB & Republic of Ireland Construction Project of the Year, below £2.5m
  • Overall Winner Award
  • Achieving Excellence in Partnering Award
