GBIP: Creative Catalyst and AI at SXSW

Innovate UK to support creative and AI businesses at SXSW 2025

Innovate UK is launching a Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP) to help UK businesses in the creative and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors expand internationally.

The programme will support up to 30 businesses in attending the South by Southwest (SXSW) 2025 conference in Austin, Texas, providing opportunities for networking, collaboration, and market exploration.

The creative industries and AI are key sectors at the SXSW conference, so this programme offers exciting and significant growth opportunities for:

• up to 15 businesses working in areas like the metaverse, digital advertising, music tech, gaming, visual effects and immersive technology
• up to 15 businesses developing AI solutions in areas of broadcasting, arts and culture, design, fashion and beauty, film and TV, gaming, music, extended reality/virtual reality

Applications for the AI stream are open to all UK businesses focusing on the above sub-sectors. The creative industries stream is open to businesses from the sub-sectors supported by the Creative Catalyst Programme.

Participants will benefit from tailored workshops, pre-arranged meetings, and ongoing support to maximise growth opportunities.
