Rural Engagement Arts Programme now open for applications
The Arts Council of Northern Ireland has opened for applications their new Rural Engagement Arts Programme (REAP)
The programme, which has a budget of £1.5 million of National Lottery funding over three years, invites online applications for grants of up to £10,000 to deliver arts projects benefitting rurally-based communities.
The overarching theme of the programme is to tackle isolation and loneliness, and promote social inclusion and wellbeing.
Arts organisations, groups of organisations working together to deliver specific projects, registered charities and local authorities in rural communities across Northern Ireland can apply.
Applications from single organisations are permissible but should demonstrate partnership working. Consortium applications demonstrating partnership working will be prioritised.
The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Thursday 28 July 2022.
