Going Dutch Programme
Going Dutch is an early stage exporter programme for businesses that have the capability and motivation to break into international markets and specifically to explore new business opportunities in The Netherlands.
This support is available to Invest Northern Ireland clients, which are manufacturing and/or tradeable services businesses with the potential to both:
- achieve at least 25% of sales external to Northern Ireland (or at least £250,000 external sales, whichever is lower)
- employ at least ten staff, within five years
If you can demonstrate that your business meets these criteria, you may be eligible to apply to become an Invest NI client.
The programme is designed for Invest NI client companies that:
- have fewer than 75 employees
- make at least £250,000 a year
- have sold successfully into the Republic of Ireland or Great Britain
- have a product or service that can be exported
- are financially stable to expand into new markets
The programme consists of group workshops and one-to-one mentor sessions. It ends with a group visit to the Netherlands to meet with pre-qualified potential Dutch partners.
The cost to participate in the programme is £1,200+VAT.
