Knowledge Transfer Partnership Scheme
A Knowledge Transfer Partnership is a three-way partnership between a business, an academic institution such as a University or FE college and a qualified graduate delivering a project lasting about two years.
This support is available to all NI businesses but may be subject to some eligibility criteria.
These collaborations can improve your company's competitiveness, productivity and profitability. Government will cover up to two-thirds of the costs depending on the size of your business.
Each partnership employs one or more recently qualified graduates to work in a company on a project of strategic importance to the business, whilst also being supervised by the University or FE College Partner. Through participation companies can benefit from the expertise of academics and researchers and the knowledge and skills of a graduate. The University gains better understanding of business needs and graduates gain invaluable experience and a potential employment opportunity.
