Leading within a Group Programme
The programme provides leadership support for Northern Ireland MDs/Site Leads of internationally owned companies. It is tailored specifically to help externally owned companies manage issues and grow the Northern Ireland site within a broader Group context, incorporating a blended approach of executive education, executive coaching and peer networks.
This support is available to Invest Northern Ireland clients, which are manufacturing and/or tradeable services businesses with the potential to both:
- achieve at least 25% of sales external to Northern Ireland (or at least £250,000 external sales, whichever is lower)
- employ at least ten staff, within five years
If you can demonstrate that your business meets these criteria, you may be eligible to apply to become an Invest NI client.
Invest NI clients who can demonstrate they meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for the programme:
- Must be located within NI and be part of a group with a parent company based elsewhere.
- Must be the site lead or senior executive and can demonstrate their ambition to grow and develop themselves and the NI site.
- Can demonstrate commitment and availability to work with the executive coaches, attend residentials and participate in peer networks.

The programme offers a blended approach to leadership development, with three key programme elements.
