Summary:

Funding and support for social entrepreneurs, including monthly meetings, sector-specific expertise and expert advice and guidance.

Eligibility criteria:

The Millennium Awards are open to any social entrepreneur aged 16 years and older tackling a range of social issues.

Additional information:

The Millennium Awards provide access to funding and expert support to enable social entrepreneurs to start or grow their social venture. Awards are funded through an endowment by the Millennium Commission with a National Lottery Grant.

Award Winners on the Millennium Awards Trust programme will be able to access tailored support including:

Pro-bono consultancy

Legal partners can offer professional consultation on a variety of topics, from determining the best legal structure to discussing intellectual property and assisting with leases and contracts.

Upskill with peers

There is access to a regular and varied calendar of workshops from expert facilitators and help to develop and deepen knowledge and understanding by connecting to fellow award winners.

Support manager

The support manager will offer one-on-one coaching throughout the award period. There are dedicated teams available to help identify and work towards support goals.

Expert advice and guidance

There is a large network of supportive business professionals, corporate partners and alumni who will generously offer the expert advice and mentoring required to develop each social entrepreneur.
