22 Under 22: Entrepreneurs to Watch

Belfast City Council has launched the 22 Under 22: Entrepreneurs to Watch programme to support promising young entrepreneurs

Belfast City Council’s 22 Under 22: Entrepreneurs to Watch competition is now open for applications from young entrepreneurs aged 16 to 22 within the council area.

This programme supports aspiring business leaders in the idea or early stage phase.
The programme offers workshops led by industry experts, networking opportunities and the chance to win a £2,000 prize.

Workshops will run from mid-November to early December.

Eligibility criteria

You can apply if:

• you or your business are based in the Belfast City Council area
• your business is trading or will trade by October 2025
• you are between 16 and 22 years old during the programme
• you can attend three half-day workshops in November and December

What to expect 

Each participant on 22 Under 22: Entrepreneurs to Watch will get:

• three workshops
• access to leading entrepreneurs and business experts
• support to develop a business playbook
• networking with other young entrepreneurs
• a chance to win £2,000 to support your venture
