Northern Ireland regulation will ban the sale and distribution of disposable vapes by 1 April 2025

Future regulations will ban the selling and distribution of single-use vapes in Northern Ireland.

The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs has announced the ban aims to be implemented by 1 April 2025.

This measure is in line with the UK's efforts to address the increasing number of single-use vapes discarded or littered each week.

A working group of representatives from Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales has been established to advance their respective legislative proposals.
