Join the Opening Doors campaign by Business in the Community (BITC) and take steps toward becoming a more inclusive employer

Business in the Community (BITC) has launched its Opening Doors campaign, aimed at making recruitment practices more inclusive. It’s open to all employers and free to join. 
The aim is to make 2 million jobs more open to diverse talent by aiding employers in improving their recruitment processes.

The campaign outlines 25 actions to help businesses make jobs more accessible. These actions are grouped into five main areas:

  • build partnerships to connect with untapped talent
  • demonstrate your commitment to inclusion
  • use clear, inclusive language in job descriptions
  • focus on essential job skills
  • ensure accessibility and reduce bias
