This accredited training explores the risks and opportunities of climate change and provides certification in carbon literacy

The Carbon Literacy Training by Business in the Community (BITC) is designed to improve understanding of carbon literacy and to explore the opportunities, risks and challenges of climate change.

The training is accredited to meet the Carbon Literacy Standard and independently verified by The Carbon Literacy Project. Participants who complete the course will receive a certification confirming they are carbon literate.

The programme aims to give businesses and their employees the knowledge and skills to lower their carbon footprint at home and at work.

Training details

The online training session consists of several modules, which include facilitated sessions and online breakout rooms. Additionally, participants should complete one hour of self-guided study to meet the requirements for Carbon Literacy Certification.
