Have your say on a draft Cyber Governance Code of Practice

The vast majority of organisations in the UK rely on digital technologies to conduct business operations. As the digital economy grows, so too do cyber threats, which are now a principal risk to many companies. The government is working to improve cyber resilience across the UK economy and ensure businesses and organisations have the tools and support to protect themselves against cyber threats.

As part of the £2.6 billion National Cyber Strategy which seeks to protect and promote the UK online, the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) has published a call for views on a proposed Cyber Governance Code of Practice.

The code focuses on the most critical areas that leaders must engage with, making it easier for directors, non-executive directors and senior leaders to understand what actions are required to manage their cyber security risk.

Have your say

DSIT is inviting stakeholders from across the economy and society to provide feedback on the proposed Code, to understand if the cyber risks are presented and explained in a way that is straightforward and can be implemented.
