Fully funded course that can help you upskill and reskill your staff in key digital and IT competencies.

As part of Skill Up, this programme is supported by the flexible skills fund supported by the Department for the Economy. The course has been designed to provide additional upskilling and reskilling opportunities, focused on supporting individuals to engage in learning and improve the skills profile of the Northern Ireland industry. Through the Queen’s University Bright Minds initiative there are a limited number of fully funded places available on the programme for the October 2024 intake.

Digital Transformation and Emerging Technologies course stimulates a mind-set change and an opportunity to understand, explore and reflect on a range of potential technologies that could create value for the business. Unpack a range of skills and tools to help you to take the next step and strategically implement new technologies. Examples of technologies covered on the course include data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), internet of things (IoT) augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR) Blockchain and 3D printing.

Who can apply?

Applicants must meet the entry criteria for the course and be:

  • over 18 years of age
  • eligible to work in Northern Ireland
  • settled in Northern Ireland, and has been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least three years; or
  • is a person who has indefinite leave to enter or remain in the UK

Course details

This course takes place online over four half days over four weeks. There are two intakes for this course over the 2024-25 academic year. The first intake starts on 14 October 2024 and the second intake starts on 25 February 2025.

The deadline for applications is Sunday 1 September 2024.
