Panel discussion event explores the experiences of deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent people in the workplace.

The Labour Relations Agency (LRA) is hosting an event to encourage respectful conversations in the workplace. The event offers a safe space to share experiences of deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent people in the workplace.

Encouraging inclusivity in the workplace

Members of the panel will share their lived experiences of how they have dealt with sensitive issues arising in the workplace and will be joined by specialists in the disability space.

There will be two discussions of approximately 30 minutes each on the topics:

  • removing the fear of disability and having respectful conversations about disability in the workplace
  • how to embed allyship and acceptance in the workplace through intentional conversations

It will be an opportunity to network and learn how you and your organisation can become more inclusive.
