Event: The Future of Cultural Devolution in the UK

On Tuesday 5 November 2024, Culture Commons (supported by a coalition of 30 partners from across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) will unveil findings on how devolution and local decision-making may shape the UK's creative, cultural, and heritage sectors.

At this online event, you will hear insights and key recommendations from The Future of Local Cultural Decision Making programme, with input from policy experts, researchers, and industry leaders.

Designed to guide policymakers, the recommendations aim to support sustainable growth and equity in cultural ecosystems in all parts of the UK.

The event will focus on four themes critical to sector development:

• place shaping
• funding
• local voice
