Freight Innovation Cluster Investor Day
Apply to attend an investor day to unlock commercial opportunities in freight and logistics.
Connected Places Catapult will host its first Freight Innovation Cluster Investor Day an initiative delivered as part of the current Freight Innovation Fund programme. The event will take place in-person at Manchester Art Gallery from 2pm to 4pm on Monday 2 November 2023.
Who can apply?
This Investor Day gives small to medium enterprises (SMEs) seeking investment the opportunity to pitch innovative solutions to a curated pool of investors in the freight and logistics industry. The event will feature projects at different stages of maturity and welcomes an open dialogue on how early-stage projects can be shaped into compelling investment opportunities.
The challenges
Aligning with the Department for Transport’s Future of Freight Plan, Connected Places Catapult welcomes applications from disruptive start-ups and SMEs, whose solutions can respond to the following challenges within the sector:
- reliability
- resilience
- environmental sustainability
Solutions that can be applied in multimodal and intermodal settings will be prioritised. The chosen SMEs will receive pitch coaching ahead of the event.
