Fund to address skills gap in the UK space sector

News article

The Training Programmes Fund aims to fund key training opportunities that remove barriers to growth in the UK space industry.

Up to £1.7 million is being made available until 31 March 2025 under the Training Programmes Fund to help address the key skills gaps that the UK space sector faces. Applications are sought from training providers to develop new and innovative training programmes, courses or learning opportunities for the UK space sector that address the skills needs of this industry.

Grants between £250,000 and £500,000 will be awarded to successful proposals.

Stakeholder engagement event

A stakeholder engagement event will bring together training providers and industry customers to hear more about the grant fund and to build relationships with one another to enable both parties to collaboratively draft a proposal that could then be submitted to the Training Programmes Fund 2024 for consideration.
