Register your interest in bidding for this funding to help mature potential nuclear projects ahead of future government selection processes

The Future Nuclear Enabling Fund (FNEF) provides £120 million in total to help mature potential nuclear projects ahead of any government process to select the next nuclear projects.

The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) expects the fund to support a limited number of nuclear projects through grant funding to be awarded following a competitive process.

BEIS are asking the nuclear industry and developers of potential new nuclear projects in the UK:

  • to register their interest in bidding for funding
  • to provide further information on projects to inform fund design

Nuclear stakeholders who are not planning on bidding for the FNEF are invited to provide information from their experience that will help to mature fund design ahead of opening the bid window in summer 2022.

Find out more about the FNEF and how to register your interest.

Registration closes on Friday 27 May 2022.
