Have your say on proposals to strengthen employment rights legislation to help deliver 'good jobs' in Northern Ireland.

The Department for the Economy (DfE) is seeking views on a range of policy areas relating to employment rights, aimed at providing employment opportunities that are deemed 'good jobs'.

Views on what makes good jobs

The consultation seeks views on four aspects of a good job, as defined by the Carnegie Framework, including:

  • terms of employment
  • pay and benefits
  • voice and representation
  • promotion of a healthy work-life balance

The deadline for responses to the consultation is 5pm on Monday 30 September 2024.
