News article

Are you looking to harness powerful computing capabilities this year?

Science and Technology Facilities Council's (STFC) Hartree Centre is offering £5,000 vouchers to businesses looking to access their advanced high-performance computing (HPC) platforms.

The HPC platforms include:

  • Scafell Pike - the UK's largest supercomputer for industry use. Equipped with the Atos Bull Sequana machine, boasting over 82,000 cores, it offers standard, accelerator, high memory, and GPU nodes.
  • JADE 2 - a Tier 2 regional deep learning supercomputer, one of the largest of its kind in the UK, primarily used for computer vision applications.

Having access to advanced computing capabilities can help businesses explore faster simulations, improve efficiency and boost competitiveness.

As well as £5,000 worth of access, successful applicants will also get a chance to discover how supercomputing and technologies like HPC can transform performance, productivity, and time to market.
