A new Hospitality Employers Charter has been launched to support individual businesses in demonstrating their commitment to training and developing staff

The Hospitality Employers Charter has been developed by Hospitality Ulster and is endorsed by Ulster University, Babcock Training and the six Further Educational Colleges. The charter is open to all hospitality businesses in Northern Ireland that show a commitment to employment rights, the welfare of employees and activate a fast-track development programme.

How can the charter help hospitality businesses?

Hospitality businesses can sign up to the charter to show that they are an employer that values the development of their staff enabling them to reach their full potential by committing to ten key principles.

The Hospitality Employers Charter aims to help renew and revitalise the hospitality industry after the impact caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The charter will help encourage more people into a career in the hospitality sector by providing those businesses that sign up access to:

  • training resources
  • employment policies
  • job description templates
  • webinars

How do I sign up to the charter?

Hospitality businesses can sign up to the charter by filling in Hospitality Ulster's simple online form. The charter is free to sign up to.
