Boost your health innovation with Ignite Labs 2025

Innovate UK has launched Ignite Labs: Health & care innovations programme, designed to support startups and SMEs working on groundbreaking products and services in the health and wellbeing sector.

Running from 11 February to 7 March 2025, this capability development programme will combine online and in-person activities, including design thinking workshops, site visits, industry presentations, and networking opportunities.

Participants will learn how to refine their ideas, identify market opportunities, and connect with industry leaders and experts.

Ignite Labs focuses on innovations in areas such as:

healthy living
consumer health
exercise and fitness
personal care
diagnostics

Delivered in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University, The University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, and the UK National Innovation Centre for Ageing, the programme provides access to valuable tools and resources to help businesses thrive.

Who can apply?

The programme is open to UK-based startups and SMEs developing health-related innovations. Spaces are limited, so applicants should apply early to secure a place. Priority will be given to those who can attend the majority of events. Participants will need to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
