Micro Community Investment Fund
Not-for-profit organisations can now apply for grants of up to £1,500 through the Micro Community Investment Fund
The Micro Community Investment Fund, delivered by the Community Foundation, supports community initiatives that make a positive impact in towns and villages across Northern Ireland.
Grants of up to £1,500 are available to help local projects improve financial, physical, and mental wellbeing.
Who can apply?
The fund is designed for smaller not-for-profit and community groups delivering work at a local level. Organisations with an annual income of up to £30,000 are eligible, but priority will be given to those with incomes under £10,000.
Projects eligibility criteria
Projects should target at least one of these key areas:
- Financial Wellbeing: helping people improve financial literacy or manage money digitally.
- Physical Wellbeing: promoting physical activity using local resources.
- Mental Wellbeing: raising mental health awareness, improving access to services, or building resilience.
How to apply
This fund supports both new and existing projects. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
