New step by step guides on UKCA and UKNI marking
The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has issued new guides to help explain the changes to how businesses place manufactured goods on the market
These changes include the introduction of the new UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking regime for placing certain products on the market in Great Britain, and the new UKNI marking regime for certain products placed on the market in Northern Ireland which have undergone mandatory third-party conformity assessment by a body based in the UK.
The guides provide clear information on what businesses need to know and what they need to do to make sure that they follow the right processes and have the right certification for their products.
