Apply now to the Regional Talent Engines programme

The Royal Academy of Engineering’s Enterprise Hub is offering a six-month pre-accelerator programme called Regional Talent Engines. It’s designed for early-stage founders in Northern England, Northern Ireland and Wales who want to turn their ideas into engineering startups.

The programme supports new innovations in any engineering sector and ideas for scalable businesses.

Who can apply? 

The programme is open to aspiring entrepreneurs who:

  • are experienced engineers or skilled tech professionals
  • want to start a business in Northern England, Northern Ireland or Wales

Why should you apply?

The Regional Talent Engines programme include:

  • a £20,000 equity-free grant to support living expenses
  • access to training workshops, roundtables, and speaker events 
  • personalised one-on-one business coaching and mentoring
  • free lifetime membership to our co-working spaces in London and Belfast

The deadline to apply is Monday 23 September 2024 at 4pm. The programme will start in Spring 2025.
