Survey: Movement Assistance Scheme

News article

Access an online survey to share your thoughts on the Movement Assistance Scheme

Last year the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) conducted a survey asking businesses for feedback on the Movement Assistance Scheme (MAS). This helped determine how best to provide ongoing support to businesses, as well as areas where the scheme could be improved and expanded.

Defra have launched a second version of this survey to get further thoughts on the scheme a year on.

Background on the Scheme

Since MAS was launched in December 2020, to support traders and certifiers moving agri-food goods from GB to NI, the costs of over 40,000 Export Health Certificates have been reimbursed.

The scheme has also been expanded based on feedback and, following the 2021 survey, the scheme now includes reimbursement for the cost of testing sheep for scrapie genotype tests, as well as for the cost of Brucella ovis testing.

Complete the Survey

Complete the Movement Assistance Scheme survey. The survey should take less than 10 minutes.

The survey will close on Monday 12 December 2022.
