Before you start
The goods must have already been declared to customs.
You’ll need the Government Gateway user ID and password linked to your EORI number.
To use this service you must:
- be subscribed to the Customs Declaration Service
- have HMRC approval to arrive and depart goods
If you do not have a user ID or Customs Declaration Service subscription you can do this the first time you arrive or depart the goods.
Information you need
You will need the:
- Declaration Unique Consignment Reference (DUCR)
- Master Unique Consignment Reference (MUCR) if your goods were consolidated into a bigger consignment
- details of where you’re sending the export to and from
- arrival and departure addresses for the movement of goods
- arrival and departure time
- goods location code
- type of transport used
- identification number of the transport (for example, a car registration or flight number)
- country the transport is registered in
