Skills boost for emerging filmmakers in Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland Screen has opened applications for Networkshops 2024/25, their series of workshops for entry-level and emerging filmmakers in Northern Ireland.

The workshops will focus on the fiction genre and cover essential aspects of filmmaking such as writing, directing, and producing. Led by experienced local industry professionals, the workshops will provide hands-on learning and networking opportunities.

The series includes two workshop formats.

In-person sessions will take place during the Belfast Film Festival and Foyle Film Festival in November 2024. Each session is limited to 30 participants, with dates and times sent to registered attendees in advance.

Online sessions will run throughout Autumn 2024, with a maximum of 20 participants per workshop. The schedule will depend on tutor availability.
